Eid Al Adha Holiday Boosts UAE Tourism Amid Rising Temperatures and Humidity

by admin477351

As the Eid Al Adha holiday period approaches, residents of the UAE can expect hotter days and humid nights, according to forecasts from the National Center of Meteorology. The weather throughout the holiday week is predicted to be mostly fair, with partly cloudy skies and rising temperatures marking the transition towards the summer season.

On Sunday, a brief respite from the heat is anticipated with a slight dip in temperatures. However, this cooler spell may bring the chance of fog or mist forming overnight and into the morning in some western and coastal parts of the country. Despite this, the heat is expected to surge back from Monday, aligning with the commencement of the Eid break for government workers.

During the holiday, temperatures are likely to peak at around 43°C in Al Ain and 41°C in Fujairah. The weather will be accompanied by light to moderate winds, occasionally reaching speeds up to 35 km/h. Meanwhile, humidity is set to increase during the nighttime and early morning hours, particularly affecting coastal areas.

Sea conditions are predicted to stay calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, providing some relief amid the rising heat. This weather pattern is part of the UAE’s gradual shift into its summer season, following a spring that has been notably mild in comparison. In some regions, temperatures have already surpassed 40°C in recent weeks.

As summer officially begins in the northern hemisphere on June 21, the UAE braces for increasingly warmer weather, underscoring the climatic shift typical of this time of year.
