In a recent meeting held in Abu Dhabi, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. The dialogue underscored the UAE’s steadfast dedication to supporting its citizens and driving national development forward. Both leaders highlighted the pivotal role Emirati citizens play in the country’s development strategy, recognizing them as integral to fulfilling the UAE’s long-term goals. They also expressed hopes for the nation’s ongoing security, prosperity, and progress.
Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. The meeting saw participation from several prominent officials, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Also in attendance were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, alongside other ministers and government officials.
This gathering is part of the UAE leadership’s regular efforts to review national priorities, enhance collaboration among the emirates, and improve the quality of life for both citizens and residents. Such consultations are integral to ensuring that the nation’s strategies remain aligned with its developmental ambitions and the welfare of its people.
Notably, the meeting in Abu Dhabi follows President Sheikh Mohamed’s visit to Fujairah in April, during which the leaders explored Fujairah Port. The visit focused on evaluating ongoing development projects and operational improvements at this crucial maritime hub, which plays a vital role in the UAE’s economic landscape.
