The United Arab Emirates has issued a stern denunciation of recent Iranian military actions targeting Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, labeling these attacks as a grave danger to the region’s security and stability. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these strikes represent a blatant infringement on the sovereignty of neighboring countries and reiterated their complete support for the affected nations.

In their statement, the UAE’s foreign ministry also condemned the attacks on Iraq’s Kurdistan region, cautioning that such aggressive maneuvers might lead to further destabilization across the region. The concerns come amid increasing tensions in the Middle East, exacerbated by ongoing military exchanges between Iran and the United States.

Kuwait reported that one of the Iranian strikes targeted a power and water desalination facility, resulting in a fire and causing extensive damage to several electricity-generation units. This incident underscores the potential for significant infrastructural impact from such military actions.

Similarly, Jordan’s military confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that had breached its airspace. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or material damage from these interceptions. Bahrain’s armed forces also managed to neutralize multiple Iranian aerial threats with their air defense systems, demonstrating the region’s readiness to counter such incursions.

These developments are part of a broader pattern of rising hostilities in the Middle East, where the geopolitical landscape remains fraught with complex challenges and ongoing conflicts. The UAE’s unequivocal support for Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan highlights the interconnected nature of regional security and the importance of collaborative defense measures among neighboring states.
