UAE and US Strengthen Ties with New AI and Energy Collaboration Agreement

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates and the United States have signed a new agreement aimed at enhancing cooperation in energy and artificial intelligence, focusing on smart manufacturing and advanced industrial development.

The agreement was exchanged in the presence of President Sheikh Mohamed at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi. It was signed by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Doug Burgum, US Secretary of the Interior and Chairman of the National Energy Dominance Council.

Under the partnership, both nations will work together to expand industrial capabilities, integrate AI into robotics and automation, and promote knowledge sharing and capacity building. Dr. Al Jaber said the agreement reflects the UAE’s goal of building strong global partnerships and advancing a knowledge-based economy through energy expertise and innovation.

Mr. Burgum highlighted that the collaboration reinforces the ongoing strategic partnership between the UAE and the US, particularly in the fields of energy transition and technological advancement.
